I would like to start todays wedding photography story describing how I met this friendly, lovely and fun couple. While shopping at a Japanese grocery store in Medford I saw a really happy, beautiful woman (Jianchen) with what appeared to be her significant other (John). Since I’ve started working with couples I can often tell when couples are engaged or recently married – they are just so happy – and suspected this was so with Jianchen and John.
I approached them and saw a wonderful engagement ring but no wedding bands. With so much love and beauty I just had to photograph them. I ask if they had already decided on a photographer and to my delight they had not. I gave them my business card, and Jianchen contacted me one week later. Isn’t it amazing how we start working together? I am really lucky to get this opportunity.
Here is Jianchen and John’s Boston wedding photography story.
The day of their wedding was the best day of Boston’s summer with mild temperature and a beautiful blue sky. Jianchen and John had a heart warming and intimate ceremony at the Public Garden with their closest friends. Amusingly, the Public Garden landmark’s George Washington wore a Bruin’s jerseys for the Stanley Cup Finals at their wedding day. So Jianchen, John and their friends could get a cool photo with George Washington! Afterward they had a photography session in the Public Garden, then we went to Commonwealth Avenue, Beacon Hill and Chinatown. It was a very modern photography session that will certainly start a trend! Take a look their wonderful wedding photography. If you are looking for capturing your ceremony like this then, let me know!
