Today’s Boston wedding photography story is about a Winter Wonderland engagement photography session with Anri and Brian at the Charles river in Cambridge and Commonwealth Avenue in Boston.

Anri and Brian had been waiting a few months for a snow day to have their engagement photography session. There were a few light snows early in the winter. During each one I called up Anri and asked her, “Is this snow that you are looking for?” Each time Anri replied, “A little bit more snow, a little bit more….”

Finally we settled on a day – the day right after the 5th biggest snowstorm in Boston! Since Boston was shutdown the day after we ended up doing their engagement session two days after Nimo. We didn’t expect this much snow, but it was perfect. Everything was covered in beautiful white snow, it wasn’t too cold, and we had an amazing blue sky with lots of sun!!!

Everyone had their own way of enjoying a snow covered city: Some people were cross country skying on Mass Ave. Some people tried to snowboard from buildings’ stairs. My favorite couple Anri and Brian were having an engagement photography session. They planned to make a snow man but they found a perfect snowman at Commonwealth Avenue. So we took some pictures with that snowman and afterward they made two snow angels. It was one of the most fun engagement sessions we could have!!! Thank you Anri and Brian, I can’t wait for working with your wedding day in August!!!
